Who can use The Color Tool?The Color Tool can be used by web designers, print designers, architects, painters, teachers, students, children and the elderly. Virtually anyone who is interested in seeing various color combinations displayed, intuitively, quickly and easily, per their preference, can use The Color Tool. What is The Color Tool used for?The Color Tool is used for intuitively finding preferred background, foreground and font color combinations for any one of a vast array of design projects. For example, The Color Tool can be used to help a web designer and/or print designer to find the color combinations for his/her website or print design project quickly and easily. Where can The Color Tool be used?The Color Tool can be used at home, at work (so long as your work permits you to use such a program during work hours), wirelessly (wireless connection required), at a school, college, university, a public library and/or any place where one has access to a computer and an Internet connection. When was The Color Tool first posted in The Public Domain?The Color Tool member's website was first posted for sale to the public in March of 2007. However, The Color Tool was worked on privately locally and online in 2006. Why Should I use The Color Tool?You should use The Color Tool website if you could benefit from quickly and easily viewing a vast array of color combinations made on the fly, which can assist you in locating the preferred color combinations for your design project. How do I use The Color Tool?The Color Tool is very simple to use. You just select a palette that you want to view and then click on the background colors on the left side and the foreground/font colors on the right side. To determine what the hex value and/or color name is of a certain color, simply hover your mouse over any of the colors and the hex value and/or color name will appear in a tool tip. Each member page that contains color tools also displays font tools. Our font tools are easy to use buttons, which enable users to change the font size and font type on the fly. What languages are supported?The Color Tool has various pages that support different languages. Much of the content on our Login, Member, and Signup pages can be viewed in the following languages: English, Deutsch, Spanish, French, Nederlands, Russian, Svenska. Although English is the primary language for these pages, you can change these pages to display a different primary language once you have signed up and have logged in. How much does The Color Tool cost?Pricing information can be found on our Signup page. Which payment processor does The Color Tool use?The Color Tool uses PayPal as our main payment processor at this time. In the future, we may add additional methods of payment for online purchases, but at this time, our preferred payment processor is PayPal. The Color Tool provides color tools and font tools.
